Today Ansley went in for her 2 year check-up and Ace went in for his 9 month check-up. Let's start off with AK. I thought I had prepared her enough so she would not puke, but I was wrong. It started off very well I thought, when she requested a "Cape" Ie a Johnny. But then it went downhill from there. She puked just after they weighed her. Luckly she had not eaten in over 6 hours. The Dr. even gave us a prescription to numb her arms for her next shots. She also did not get the flu shot because the Dr. did not want to upset her even more. Poor girl. She weighed 28 pounds and we did not get a clear height measurement because she refused to lay down. But she is a very healthy little girl and we do not have to go back for a year.
Ace man weighed 23 pounds (yes 5 pounds less than his sister) and I can't remember how much he had grown. He was on target developmentally and had to get two shots. Only cried for a bit for those Mr. Tough Man. He goes back in three months.
Mom was worn out after the Dr.'s today. Ansley wanted two treats afterwards. An ice-cream cone and to go to Gammie's house.
