Ace Man....Our little terror...

Ace man is a wild one these days. At 8 months, he is already walking as long as he has something to hold on to. He crawls so fast and looks like a little bulldog from behind. Sometimes, he just puts his head down and goes. We are really afraid that he is going to ram into something with that big head. He is into everything as you can see from these pictures. He got in there all by himself and quick. He is constantly pulling his sister down and if she has a toy in her hands that he wants, he usually can just take it from her. Luckly Ansley is pretty nice about and just tell us rather than take it back. He loves to be wherever Ansley is. They are so cute together and my heart just swells with love when I see Ansley love on him. He loves to make noises that sound like a lion and is just still a really happy baby. He is slowly cutting more teeth, and we believe that he will be walking in the next month of so. Thats when the real trouble begins right?

Funny Faces

On the weekends, we try to keep things low key and just have a good times at home. Needless to say, I catch a lot of funny faces of the kids. They are always cracking us up. Enjoy.

Making the Count Cake

Last weekend, I did a semi-trial run of the Count cake that I will be making for Ansley's birthday. I didnt do all the colors, I just wanted to make sure I could do the face. Ansley helped me out bit and she loved it. Today she kept asking me to make a count cake. I think she has her Dad's sweet tooth.

Please Pray For the Burgess Family

Please join our family as we pray for the Burgess family during this very difficult time. Rick, from the Rick and Bubba show in Birmingham, Alabama, tragically lost his son this weekend. Please, if you feel lead to, leave a post with Rick's son on your blog for support of this sweet family.

Need Some Help Please

Ansley has decided that she wants the Count from Sesame Street Cake for her birthday. I know many people check out this blog, so I am asking for your help. I bought the count cake pan off of ebay, however, it did not have the insert to tell me how to make the different colored icings etc. It is a retired Wilton pan, so Wilton's website does not have the directions. Does anyone have any suggestions to where I might find the insert or the decorating pattern? Please leave me a comment if you do. Thanks!

Hello...Is Anyone there?

Sorry for not updating sooner..Just busy getting back to the swing of things after Christmas...Ansley is really into eating toast thanks to her "My gammie" as she calls Brent's mom. Ace is walking up and down the couch now and just loves to be whereever Ansley is. We have great kids....Love them to pieces..
