New Name For Our Little Man

After much thought, we have decided to call our little man by his middle name, Ace. We have actually been going back and forth since he was two weeks old and came to the decision today. Now, it will probably take me my entire life to get it straight, however, Ansley has no problem saying it. Hope all is well.

Today, Brent's friend Joe invited us over to his parents house to swin in the pool. Ansley is a little afraid of Joe, especially when he laughs. However, she loved the fountain by the pool and Joe's playground. Thanks for having us!

Family Day At The Lake

Today we went to the Lake with Aunt Beth and Uncle Shawn. We swam, rode the boat and enjoyed relaxing with Beth and Shawn before their little one arrives. Afterwards, the fam went to Giffords for some ice cream. As you can see, Ansley enjoyed her kiddie cone.

We Have Pigtails!

Ansley kept pointing to my ponytail this morning and saying me, so I gave her two ponytails. They are very small, uneven and I had to wet her hair to get them up, but they are in. And I had to let her play with her toothbrush. She has kept them and the bows in for about 30 min. That's a record for anything in her hair. She usually has the bow out within a minute. I kept telling her that she would look like Zoe from Sesame Street.

Gavin is Two Months Old

Before I got the camera, Gavin was smiling really big. His medicine tates like butterscotch. Of course, after I got the camera, his smiles wern't as big.

Ansley's New Toy

Ansley was having so much fun with her new Barbie bag until Jamie came in and rained on our parade. According to Jamie, Bags aren't toys. Bummer.

Girl's Day Out

Ansley and I had a girls day out today. We dropped Gavin off at Grammie's and then headed to the park and Dairy Queen for lunch with Aunt Beth. Then we stopped off at Princess Kate's (my friend with no children calls herself that) house to see her new bathroom and new puppy. Fun Day!

My new gadget...

I just want to thank my husband for my new camera...I got it tonight and it is so much fun..Now you guys wont have to bug us to update the blog because I can add the pictures straight from my laptop....Thanks bugs..I love it..

Green Beans Yuck!!!

She used to love Green Beans but now, they are a no go..She also does this pose when you give her a compliment..For example, Ansley, you are being such a good girl! She strikes this pose and gives a groan....

Need A New Personalized Plate For My Car

Up here in Maine, Brent and I were able to get Roll Tide and Go Bama 1 on our cars...If you can actually believe it, somebody already had just Go Bama. Well, a lot of people have been asking us if we are going to vote for Barack Obama because of our tag. So, since we have to renew this month, we are going to change it. Any suggestions? We are looking to stay with the Alabama theme...

Gavin's Two Month Check-Up

Well our little man is growing! He went for his two month check-up today and he is doing great. He weighed 13 pounds and 2 ounces which he is in the 95th percentile and he was 24 and a quarter inch long, which is also in the 95th percentile. He was in the 50th percentile for his head circumference. He was very alert today and was chatting up a storm with the Dr. He can now lift his head all the way up while on his belly and he really wants to sit up all the time to see everything. He loves to walk in his stroller and sit in his Bumbo seat while we eat.
