"Hi this is my brother...."

Tonight we took the babes to the library for story time, something we do every Monday night. Afterwards, we let them play in the castle and play with the other kids. Tonight, AK went up to a little girl who was about 7 and introduced her brother. She said, "Hi, this is my brother Ace-man, he is a nut job." We were cracking up. Poor little man.

Whew...Last summer was a piece of cake.

This time last summer, everyone would comment to Brent and I to how busy we were going to be with a newborn and a one year old. Last summer was a breeze let me tell ya! Little man would just sleep, eat, and hang out. This summer, both kids are running wild and Ace is a nut job that gets into everything. Going to the park by myself is much different than last summer. Instead of one sleeping in a stroller and one just wanting to slide, both kids love to explore every inch of the playground. AK now loves to try out every monkey bar apparatus and yesterday I thought we were going to have our first broken arm as she fell off the last step of a jungle gym. Instead, we just had the breath knocked out of us a little bit and mostly scared. Ace thinks he is 10 instead of 1 and wants to try and be a big kid. They continue to crack us up and as always, keep us on our toes.

We are enjoying being home with the kids, and luckily Brent is not working as much as he did last summer. We are heading to Alabama next week and we are looking forward to seeing our family and friends.

We're going to Dave

We're going to see Dave Matthews Band tonight in Massachusetts. Hopefully, we'll be able to find the place. Thanks Aunt Jo and Grammie for keeping the kids tonight.

Thanks Grammie

We love our wagon. Thank you, Grammie.

Happy Father's Day....Again.

These pics should have been with the last post. Not sure what happened.

Happy Father's Day!

My children are so lucky to have Brent as their dad. Brent is the most caring and loving person I know, and he makes every day fun for us. Ace might disagree because right now he is getting popped for pulling out trash for the tenth time this afternoon. Brent takes care of all us and always puts us before himself and for that I am grateful. I can only pray that AK will find a man just like him and that Ace will grow up to be like him. Happy Father's Day Brent! We love you!

To my Dad- Happy Father's Day! As usual, your card and gift will be arriving late but I love and miss you and can't wait to see you in July. AK is ready to talk planes. Maybe you can get some of your old connections to let us in to see the planes at the airport.

To other Dad's in our lives that have influenced and guided us but left us too soon, Granddaddy Lee, Paw Paw, Brent's Dad, My Dad, Pop Pop and Granddad Watson, we miss you and love you guys very much.

I hope that all the Dad's out there got to enjoy today! Happy Father's Day to everyone!

It's Finally Summer Here!

by 8 0'clock this morning, it was 85 degrees here in Maine. Brent had to work, so I put the kids in the pool and we stayed there for two hours. Ace has been asleep for 3 and half hours, so I see a lot of pool time in our future once school gets out. They had a blast. I love the picture of Ace bending over the pool. We saw a lot of "crack" today.

The Ice Cream Truck

I'm a little behind posting these, however, a couple of weeks ago, an ice cream truck started coming done our street. When Brent heard the music, he bolted to the door with AK behind him. We had to wait a little bit for him to finish with the kids at the end of our street, but she loved. And I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, Brent or AK.

Loving on Daddy

AK loves reading books with dad. So much so, that they check out new books on Amazon and try to figure out what the books are about. I snapped a couple of cute ones of them together doing a little shopping on the net.
