The Stockings...

I made this stockings with the help of my good friend Martha.

Ace and Santa

We dont have a scanner at home and I wanted my parents to see this.

I like big butts and I cannot lie...

Little man Ace has got some back. This kid has the biggest butt and it is just too cute..He has a little rash problem right now. so we get to see his butt quite a bit while he is drying out.

Make sure you tell Santa that I have been an Angel this year Dat...

Looks like two kids were on Santa's nice list..

Ansley and Ace were treated very well by Santa. The kitchen and stockings were a big hit. However, next year we should tell Santa that we need more lip gloss. Ansley will just sit for long periods of time and constantly put it on. Ace just loves anything that will fit in his mouth. A big Thank you to Banana and Paw Paw for the great table they gave to us. Thank you to Mimi and Mitch for remembering us here in Maine. Thank you to Grammie who spent the night with us and making Christmas morning even more special. Also, to Uncle Been, Aunt Jo, Aunt Beth, Uncle Shawn, Aunt Sandy, Uncle Brian and Axel for all of the fun presents as well. We enjoyed spending time with everyone the most.

We have the same eyes..

The one thing she got from me, eye color.

Ansley's First Haircut

Last Friday, Ansley had her first haircut. She did not cry and sat so still and so serious the whole time. Very proud of her for her good behavior and for following directions so well. I had prepared myself for puke and crying, but she surprised us and even seemed to enjoy looking at herself in the mirror. The girl that cut it was a little scary, but so nice to Ansley and she made the experience very good. The first picture is before the cut and the second picture is getting her hair "did".

Hairspray

We rented the movie Hairspray and Ansley loved it. If you havent seen in, it is a musical with lots of singing and dancing. She had to have her tutu on and pink shoes as she was watching it. She was glued to the TV and at times, would even mimic the dancing. I think we might be looking at dance lessons in the near future.

Maybe We Should Ask Santa for Paper Plates?

Ansley and Ace played with paper plates, cooking spoons and boxes of food for about an hour today. Toys, who needs them?

Cookie Time..

Today, Brent and I baked and Ansley had a good time decorating sugar cookies. I bought special food coloring markers for her to color the cookies and they are great for kids to use. She also loved the glitter as you can see.

Missing Myrtle Lou..

Tonight, Ansley and I hung up Christmas ornaments that my sweet Grandmother Brady made when she was alive. Brought back so many good memories of her and Ansley loved them. She kept saying, "Mommy Gammie made." So sweet. Mryt would have loved A.K. and Ace.

Sesame Street Live: Elmo Makes Music

This weekend we took Ansley to see Sesame Street Live and she loved it. She dance the whole time and sang along at times. A huge Thank you to Uncle Shawn and Aunt Beth and Axel for hanging out with Ace.

Loving the High Chairs

We had to get Ace a high chair last week, because he would pitch a fit and not eat if Ansley was running around. Now he loves to be right beside her. He will just look over at her and just giggle. Too cute. Right now, his favorites are Apples and Blueberries and Banannas.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Today was a snow day for Brent and I, so we decided to put up the Christmas decorations. Ansley kept saying, "Look at this Mommy, Daddy" and Ace just loved the lights and all of the action. It was a great family day.
